Saveshore · Version 1.0 · Effective May 2026
Saveshore is operated by SaveShore UG (haftungsbeschränkt), registered in Berlin, Germany, with its business address at Antwerpner Str. 5, 13353 Berlin.
Saveshore is a software platform for personal finance planning, budgeting, and spending analysis. It connects to your existing German bank accounts via regulated open banking interfaces, analyses your income and spending behaviour, and helps you build consistent saving habits through AI-powered guidance and automation.
Saveshore is not a bank, payment institution, investment firm, or financial adviser. It does not hold, move, or take custody of your money at any point. Every transfer you make happens through your own banking app, on your own instruction, after you have reviewed and confirmed it. Saveshore has no access to your banking credentials and never initiates transactions on your behalf.
To use Saveshore you must:
Accounts where identity verification is rejected due to age (under 18) or identity failure are scheduled for deletion. No saving, referral, or loyalty features will activate on an unverified account.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account with any other person.
If you suspect your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact us immediately at hello@saveshore.com.
Saveshore uses email-based verification, biometric authentication, and 6-digit PIN protection. Plain PIN values are never stored. Failed authentication attempts trigger a temporary lockout as a security measure.
Saveshore connects to your bank accounts via FinAPI GmbH, a BaFin-regulated Account Information Service Provider (AISP) operating under the EU Payment Services Directive (PSD2). This connection is strictly read-only. Saveshore receives transaction data and account balances. It cannot initiate payments, transfer funds, or access your banking login credentials.
PSD2 requires that open banking connections be re-authorised every 90 days. You will be notified before your connection expires. Failure to re-authorise will pause saving engine activity until the connection is renewed. No data is lost during a lapsed connection.
Saveshore supports a CSV upload fallback for users whose bank is not covered by FinAPI. Accuracy of analysis in this mode is limited to the data you provide.
Saveshore uses automated processing to analyse your income and spending data and generate personalised saving suggestions. This automated analysis is a core part of the service. You are informed of this processing in accordance with Article 22 of the GDPR, and you consent to it as part of onboarding.
You confirm every suggested transfer. Saveshore will never execute, initiate, or instruct a transfer without your explicit approval. If you do not confirm, nothing moves.
Shore AI is an AI-powered financial companion integrated into the Saveshore platform. It uses your connected financial data to provide personalised insights and guidance. Your conversations with Shore AI are processed via a third-party AI API. By using Shore AI you acknowledge that conversation content is transmitted to that provider for processing purposes.
Shore AI output is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute regulated financial advice under the German Investment Act (WpHG) or the Banking Act (KWG). It is not a substitute for professional financial, tax, or legal advice.
Shore AI never alters your confirmed settings or account parameters without your explicit instruction.
All new accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to saving features. No payment is required to start.
After the trial period, continued access to saving features requires an active paid subscription. The following plans are available:
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from the Settings screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
Saveshore reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.
ShorePoints are a loyalty mechanic within Saveshore. They are awarded for account milestones, verified referrals, and platform engagement.
ShorePoints carry no monetary value. They cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another user, or exchanged outside the Saveshore platform. ShorePoints do not represent equity, ownership, or any financial instrument. They confer no legal or economic rights of any kind.
ShorePoints are forfeited permanently upon account deletion. They are non-transferable and lapse with the account.
Saveshore reserves the right to modify or discontinue the ShorePoints programme at any time. Changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.
Saveshore processes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. In delivering the service, we share data with the following categories of sub-processors:

Saveshore makes no guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saving suggestions will achieve any particular financial outcome. Actual results depend on your spending behaviour, banking data quality, and personal circumstances.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon confirmed deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy within 30 days.
Saveshore may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation of your account creates legal or security risk. Where possible, we will notify you before taking action.
We will notify you of material changes to these Terms by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not accept the revised Terms, you may delete your account before the effective date.
